grandee_mediumThe above boilers are available in the following three options;

The Grandee ‘Standard’ Boiler. This type of boiler is also known as a ‘regular’ or ‘conventional’ boiler. If you are replacing an old boiler and already have a hot water storage tank together with a cold water storage tank most likely situated in your loft space, then this is probably the boiler for you.

Standard boilers are usually installed on an open vented system; however they could also be used on sealed heating systems.

The Grandee ‘System’ Boiler. This is similar to the standard boiler but incorporates the principal components of a “sealed system”. No feed and expansion tank in the loft is required. A system boiler pumps hot water to the radiators and a sealed hot water storage cylinder. Most of the major components of the heating and hot water system, including the pump and expansion vessel, are already built into the boiler, making installation easier, tidier and more efficient, and also simplifies servicing.

Grandee’ Combi’ Boiler. A Combi (or combination) boiler is the most popular type of boiler for central heating and domestic hot water. They are easy to install, simple to use and economical to run. A combi boiler only heats water when a hot tap or shower is turned on, ensuring maximum efficiency. There is no need to find space for a water storage cylinder or have a tank in the loft. Hot water is delivered to your taps on demand, so you can enjoy a bath or shower. The Combi is a complete boiler system in one complete package.

If in any doubt which boiler is suitable for you, either speak to your heating installer or give us a call and we will be more than happy to assist you.

As many homes have limited floor space available, our boilers being wall hung can be virtually installed on any inside or outside walls, or even in garages.

Grandee Oil Boilers have been designed and manufactured specifically with the installer and engineer in mind. With their easy slide on universal casings and our ‘Patented’ detachable combi unit s installation and servicing has never been so simple.

The advantage of being able to easily remove the combi kit, together with primary heat exchanger, baffles and burner dramatically reduces the weight of the boiler making it easier for the appliance to be secured to an Internal or Exterior wall.

Multiple Fluing options:

Horizontal Balanced Flue option

Being flexible our ‘horizontal balanced fluing’ can be offset, in almost any direction to meet the requirements of each individual installation

Vertical Convention Flue option

A conventional flue option is also available allowing you to take the flue vertical, a conventional flue receiver is used in this case.

Unlike some other manufactures the above fluing options are included within the price of our boilers.

Please note that all fluing installations must however fully comply with current regulations

Our flue’s have been specifically designed to offer the smallest diameter on the market, meaning that they can not only be installed with the minimum of structural damage, but are also ideally suited for installations in listed buildings in which the minimum of structural damage is of maximum importance

Grandee Boiler Warranty

All Grandee Boilers are covered by a two year parts and labour warranty from the date of installing, subject to correct installation, commissioning and servicing as per our manufactures’ instructions.

The primary heat exchanger is also covered by an additional three years warranty making five years in total, again subject to correct installation and operation

Please note that Nozzles and consumables such as gaskets and indicator bulbs are not covered by the warranty

Grandee boilers are hand built in the West Midlands, in line with our own ‘Patented’ designs, using what we believe to be some of the finest materials and components currently available. We are also confident that the quality of our boilers surpasses all other competitive appliances known to us.

Installers Awareness Manual

As we are always looking for more efficient ways to help improve our service, and to also be able to provide information on our products quickly and easily, both for customers, engineers and installers, we have now provided a direct link to our recently updated ‘Installers Awareness Manual’

This Awareness Manual contains ‘bullet point’ type information relating not only to practical do’s and don’ts but also to important recommendations regarding the installation of our boilers

We are also currently in the process of redesigning and improving the information contained in our Operating, Installation, Commissioning  and Servicing Manual and again a direct link to view or download this manual will be made available shorty. In the meantime if you require a copy of this manual, please contact us direct either by phone or email and we will ensure a copy is quickly sent to you.
